EcoSys is headquartered in a great facility conveniently located in Rye Brook, NY, easily accessible by Metro North and major thruways. We also provide flexibility to our developers in that not every day has to be “in office” if productivity can be achieved remotely.
Separate from the software development team, the Company also has a professional services team that assists clients in the implementation of the product in the field. We also maintain offices in London, San Francisco, and Atlanta, as well as partnerships with resellers in Australia and Dubai.

The Position:
We’re looking for a seasoned Java server-side developer/architect with a wealth of experience designing, developing and perfecting server-side systems that are able to process complex business rules, multi-layered transactions and scale to thousands of users. As a tech-lead of the development team, you will primarily be developing server-side Java for a DHTML and AJAX front-end.
The ideal candidate will be a Java expert who can design and build complex object-oriented systems, and has a firm handle on how to solve real-world business needs with elegant, reusable and efficient Java code/architecture. Only veteran software developers with demonstrated full-lifecycle delivery experience will be considered, meaning you need to possess a strong foundation in the science and discipline of structured programming.
REQUIRED Skills:
• Highly skilled and experienced in Java.
• Experience developing against relational databases and working with SQL.
• History of full life-cycle development, including requirements, design, and programming.
DESIRED Skills (candidates with these will be given preference):
• Great at distilling and prioritizing requirements.
• Fluid in optimizing Java code in terms of memory usage and performance/speed.
• JSP, JavaScript and AJAX experience.
• Experience developing commercial software products.
