Web Developer

We are looking for a full time PHP web developer who is dedicated to their craft, writes code they are proud of and can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways. You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

Overview of Duties
Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules and ensure that they meet and exceed the expectations and requirements of the end user.
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
Integration of data storage solutions.
Design and develop new functionality.Improve existing functionality.
Provide 2nd/3rd line support when needed.

Requirements
Understand and embrace core values of the business.
A solid foundation in PHP.
Willingness to learn and expand upon existing skill sets.
Highly motivated.Passionate about development and creating the best possible product.
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, MySQL, OOP, MVC frameworks.
Can manage a project from start to finish, from requirements analysis to release.
Works well in a team.
Willingness to take ownership of tasks.
Can use initiative to propose creative solutions to issues.
Excellent communication skills.
Enjoys the challenge of troubleshooting issues.

Desirable
Development experience of the following would be advantageous: Magento, PrestaShop, MySQL, MSSQL, CSS, Linux, Bootstrap, jQuery.
Knowledge of common PHP or server exploits and their solutions.
An interest in security, PCI-DSS, etc.
