Job description
The primary focus of our team is to create state-of-the-art applications, while enhancing existing applications with new features. We support a diverse set of business units at Wegmans, including Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Merchandising, and Store Operations, while utilizing the latest technologies from Microsoft and Oracle. You’ll spend 90% of your time creating new applications and features, and 10% of your time on problem resolution. If you are someone who enjoys solving complex problems, finding solutions, and implementing them, then this is the team for you! Don’t have a ton of experience, no problem! If you have the drive and desire to learn, we have the tools and training to help make you successful.
Come help us as we prepare to provide a more robust set of systems to take us into the next phase of our company’s growth! During your first six months, you’ll have an opportunity to create exciting new systems using new technologies. You will be involved with projects that deal with creating new web applications, UI’s, databases, while using various ETL methodologies. You will work in a very dynamic environment focusing on some of the company’s top priorities.
Skills & requirements
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience developing application in a Microsoft environment
- Experience with ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio & TFS
- Familiarity with relational databases, including SQL & Oracle
- Experience working with SSIS and SSRS
