GlobeHealer is a team of physicians, entrepreneurs and technologists that are working on helping you access the best healthcare. We are looking for full-time developers to focus on building our healthcare access platform. You'll be a founding member of the technology team and expected to participate in all aspects of development--from requirements discovery to production deployment. We are a frank, collaborative bunch where HiPPO (highest paid person's opinion) is kept in check. You'll get to work alongside some of the most reputable developers in tech and have an opportunity to learn from experts on a number of technologies.
We value fit, talent and enthusiasm over a candidate with a specific list of technology buzzwords. You need to bring a good amount of technical heat but we love creative problem solvers and expect you to propose both business and technical solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- real-world experience building web applications with a relational database backend
- web mvc framework experience (rails, spring mvc, asp.net mvc)
- good javascript experience and habits
- sql and data modeling experience
- a predilection toward test-driven development, continuous integration and feedback, agile development and extreme programming concepts and won't compromise on quality
- a knowledge of agile methodologies and a willingness to be part of an agile team
- a BS/BA/MS in computer science, information systems, or another rigorous discipline or enough great experience that make a formal education irrelevant
