Imagine a place where experts and educators can contribute to modular, openly licensed, educational content, and then assign that content to their students who interact with it via a world-class web application. This is our dream and it’s absolutely taking off, now we need you to join us.
We're looking for an experienced/senior developer with strong front-end experience. You’ll be using modern tech and client-side tooling to build a beautiful, responsive experience for students, educators, and content experts around the world. We are increasingly investing in using React to build out our client-side applications that are both elegant and scalable. Here’s a sample of the tech we use:
- HTML5, CSS3
- HAML, SASS
- ES7, React with Modular CSS, Redux, Backbone
- Rails and Node
- Postgres, Redis, ElasticSearch
- Continuous integration & continuous delivery
- Well-oiled testing infrastructure
It's not just software that keeps us productive: We also foster an atmosphere that encourages learning from each other, and working together to solve the hard problems. It’s ok if you don’t have experience with particular parts of our stack, what’s most important is that you’re enthusiastic about growing as an engineer, and strive to build a product that people will love to use.
