Job description
The GUI Web Developer will work closely with Product Managers, other Developers, and Testers to conceive, design, prototype, build, and deliver a next-generation Web user interface for Eloqua’s flagship marketing automation/demand generation platform. The Web Developer is expected to spend 80% of their time on hands-on development and the remainder on architecture/design/technical documentation.
Other Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and introduce technical standards and 3rd party components (open source & commercial).
- Participate in technical design/code and usability reviews.
Skills & requirements
- University/College degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field strongly desired.
- Experience with designing and building complex & scalable Web-based GUIs using HTML / JavaScript / CSS calling back-end Web services.
- Programming experience using Agile development methodologies & Continuous Integration (CI).
- Experience with GUI design using storyboarding and wireframe prototyping are pluses.
- Experience using RIA (Rich Internet Applications) technologies such as Flex or Silverlight a plus.
- Must have superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Drive for delivering quality products in a timely manner.
- Strong team player with a “killer instinct” to get the job done.
