WiserTogether, a funded, highly innovative and award-winning company in the Washington DC area is in immediate need of a Senior Python/Django Developer and Technology Lead. You will be responsible for the technical design and engineering process oversight. Lead the technology team and be responsible for its output. A critical part of the job is to effectively leverage technology to meet business goals in ways that are compatible with the team in place and evolving business needs. Your role will include working with the executive management team and guide them on all technology matters. You should be able to lead as well as jump in and code as necessary. You will be called upon to play a management role and work with the content team to deliver high value products.

Skills & requirements
What you need to qualify for this role:
- Proficiency in programming in Django/Python
- Solid experience in Javascript, JQuery, SQL and Linux
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Extraordinary software talent and coding skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
- Proven and demonstrated ability to design, manage and implement complex products
- Enterprise level experience – background in working with corporate HR IT systems would be helpful, but not necessary.
