QA Analyst / Tester Engineer

QuarterLine Consulting Services is seeking a QA Analyst / Test Engineer for a full-time position located in the RTP area of North Carolina. The position is responsible for ensuring that QA methodologies are implemented consistently and appropriately across all projects. In addition, will be responsible for creating and reviewing test plans/test cases/test scenarios, creating and executing automation test strategy, implementing automation framework for applications and systems.

- 5+ yrs Quality Assurance experience

-3-7 years of software testing experience

- Developing Test Cases and Procedures

- Manual and Automated testing experience

- Functional / UI, integration, unit and regression testing

- Performance testing a plus

- Web based testing in a .NET environment

-C#, .net framework using v3.5

- SQL

- Strict attention to detail, as reflected in your resume

- BA/BS degree or technical degree

What you'll be doing:

- Developing and executing Test Cases and Procedures

- Coordinating with developers to develop and troubleshoot test cases

- Integration testing

- System testing

- Automation software

- Preparing Test Reports

-Automating regression testing

-Automating testing of graphical user interface

-Partnering with software development team to assist them in producing high quality software

- Work with teams to produce end to end functional tests, operational tests, and performance tests

- Detailed documentation of test and results

- Develop scripts to incorporate/replace test harness to automate test execution/analysis

- Write an execute QA Test plans, test cases and test automation scripts, and deliver highest quality software. Perform manual QA tests when needed.

- Write or customize test harnesses with open source or commercial automation tools

- Design and customize automation framework to suit the needs of a product and technology.
