Job description
Colbi Technologies is hiring 2 JavaScript developers with full stack web application development experience. We are looking for detail oriented people with the ability to build highly complex, extensible JavaScript web client applications. Applicants should have extensive knowledge of JavaScript including ECMAScript 6. Knowledge of AngularJS 1 and 2 is preferred. Working knowledge of Web API and ASP.NET 4.5 is a huge plus.
We are looking for multiple people to augment our team in development of our online document processing system. We are also looking for people to help begin the effort of moving our flagship desktop application Account-Ability to the web.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement and support highly complex web and web services applications using advanced knowledge of technologies including C#.Net, AngularJS, MVC, Web API and associated technologies.
- Solve technical problems around web application system design, performance, scalability and system/product stability.
- Write high quality code using proper coding standards.
- Demonstrate ability to successfully work in a small, innovative and creative team.
- Take an active role in the development of projects for the website, both large and small, throughout the various phases of the project life cycle. Assess new initiatives to determine the work effort and estimate the necessary time-to-completion.
- An interest in sharing knowledge about new technologies with the team and facilitating the implementation of such technologies across projects.
- Works with the Senior Web Developer to create customized applications and enhance website capabilities according to current development methodologies.
- Develop, program, test, and maintain web-related projects including, but not limited to websites, landing pages and Databases.
- Understand user experience (UX).
Skills & requirements
Qualifications:
Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent degree, with related experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, JQuery, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3
Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with data-driven applications
Experience on Front end-focused development of UI/UX development.
Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and ability to work under pressure and short timelines
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills
Participate in Design and Code Reviews
Bonus Skills:
Experience working / writing financial software
Knowledge of VB.Net
Experience in WinForm
Create complex Excel reports from code

Colbi Technologies came together for one purpose: to make the tools to manage school construction finances. Lettie Boggs and Larry Goshorn, both working hard at building schools, found that there weren’t any district tools for managing the finances of multi-year construction projects. Lettie’s background in accounting lead to processes tracked in a series of linked spreadsheets.
