Job description
We are looking for passionate backend engineers who love creating scalable applications with quality code. You will work with other team members to achieve scalable, robust applications best suited to the company’s existing infrastructure. Successful members of this team collaborate effectively with internal end-users, aggressive cross-functional software development teams to solve problems.
Skills & requirements
- Strong knowledge of nodeJS. Experience with server side language.Java/Scala/Go
- BS degree in Computer Science and 5+ years of industry experience developing backend systems.
- Experience with Postgres or another SQL RDBMS.
- Working knowledge of Amazon AWS or another cloud service.
- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project.
- Experience with software engineering concepts such as caching, refactoring, design patterns, DDD, TDD etc.
- Experience working in finance domain is a plus.
- Experience with python/Django is a plus.
- Experience with Data Science toolkits such as SciKit, SparkML etc is a plus.
