Job description
We are seeking a self-driven senior developer to work in a small team in our Eight Mile Plains office. This role will be focused towards the establishment of a DevOps environment with a focus on system automation and tooling for the monitoring and maintenance of software and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage day to day support requests from the business
- Software development of new feature requests and bug fixes within agreed timeframes. Incorporating unit testing, and using JIRA issue tracking software.
- System maintenance and handling of software releases and upgrades.
- Infrastructure monitoring and administration, including Windows Server 2012, and database administration for SQL Server 2014
- Maintain and create system documentation within Confluence

- Being able to manage the responsibility of working on business critical systems
- Have a proven ability in debugging and systematically tracking down system bugs
- The ability to critically analyse system issues, and formulate sensible solutions
- Process and procedure orientated
- Be a self-starter, and have the drive and passion to self-learn
- Have a strong pride in the quality of your development
- Be able to work collaboratively in a team
Previous Experience and Education (Required)
- Microsoft .Net Framework (C#)
- NET Web Forms
- SOAP/WCF Web Services
- SQL Server - with extensive experience in database administration as well as T-SQL/stored procedures.
