Job description
DevOps engineering team required in Gdynia, Poland for Scandinavian Commercial Bank. Team will be tasked with building fundamental DevOps functionality for the following technologies:
Mainly around Teradata, Hadoop and BigData source code and deployment. Actual DevOps tooling is flexible.
DevOps Functionality: automated builds, automated unit tests, automated code good-practices oversight, automated integration tests, automated releases, segregation of duties and environments. Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

Responsibilities:
• Choosing appropriate DevOps instruments through research and proof of concepts
• Developing and improving of companywide DevOps architecture and standards
• Ensuring accurate DevOps standards and Tools implementation
• Creating an automated delivery pipeline for applications portfolio
• Participating in release and delivery strategy development
• Supporting individual DevOps as SME through whole portfolio
• Ensuring that DevOps infrastructure meets SLA’s/OLA’s
to different locations not less than 30% of time Skills Required: Mandatory skills:
• OS: Linux/networking
• Scripting: Bash, Python
• VC: Git or Bitbucket or Stash
• Big Data: Hadoop
Build tools: maven, gradle
• Automation: Jenkins or Teamcity or Bamboo
• Containers: Docker and Vagrant
• Log aggregation: ELK stack or Splunk or Solr
• Configuration management: Puppet, Ansible
• Repository: Nexus or Artifactory
• Issue Tracking: Jira
communication skills for problem tracking and task definition
• Excellent English
Nice to have skills:
• Any background in software development (Java and/or Python)
Understanding of big data concepts/management : Spark, Hive, Sqoop, YARN, Kafka
• Experience with Jira/Bamboo or BMC Remedy API
• Experience with containerization management: Kubernetes or Rancher or Docker Swarm or OpenShift
• Experience with building reports/dashboards
• DWH: Teradata or Oracle
• Technologies or Architecture: Microservices, Bigdata
• Chat: Slack; Hipchat
• Experience in financial domain is a plus
• Strong desire and ability to learn
Good understanding of Agile methodologies
• Code quality: SonarQube
• Automation testing
