Job description
This position is for the backend team, and is a mix of DevOpsSec, and software development. On any given day you will maintain / add functionality to our API, create internal tools, enhance our CI/CD infrastructure and support new analytics deployments. This position will also interact extensively with development and product teams. This position is located in Midtown Manhattan.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain code for API, analytics platforms and internal tools
Optimize CI/CD processes
Code Testing, Code reviews
Cloud provisioing improvements
Resolve runtime bugs
Iterate with product to develop MVPs
Automate everything
Self starter
Understand and communicate security concerns
Ability create, update and maintain documentation
Skills:
at least 2 year Infrastructure experience
at least 1 year AWS experience
In depth knowledge of Linux
Proficient in at least one of: Node.js, Python
Experience with Java a plus
Knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases
Experience with CI/CD and containerization
Experience with GIT
Experience with caching technologies (Redis, memcached)
Experience with deployment management tools (Chef, Puppet, Jenkins)
Experience with Elasticsearch / search engines
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of Kanban
Understanding of system security best practices
Experience with Analytics Platforms ( Hadoop, Spark )
