Job description
- Web based development of Datameer software
- Define and implement new plugins
- Develop and execute software tests
- Report to project manager in Germany and USA
- Participate in weekly product planning meetings
Skills & requirements
- 3+ years of industry engineering experience
- Very good knowledge in web based software development with Java / JEE
- Good knowledge in: Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse, MySQL, Unix / Linux, JUnit
- Nice to have: Experience with Hadoop / Map Reduce, PIG, Cascading, Hive, HBase, Lucene, AWS
- Test driven development
- Literate, communicative, client-friendly, and flexible
- Good in English, basic in German would be nice (for Halle/Saale office)
