WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work on cutting edge game AI technology that will power our product offerings.
• Work closely with server-side engineering and the Front-end team to influence game design and development.
• Participate in all aspects of a project life-cycle, from specifications through QA.
• Find and fix bugs, optimize scalability and performance, keep up-to-date with the latest relevant technologies.
• Be part of a small agile team where you own a significant portion of the code and are integral to the team's success.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Strong Node.js and JavaScript programming and debugging skills.  
• Prior experience implementing and supporting a Node.js application within a production environment.
• Prior experience with Object-Oriented (Ruby/Java/Python) programming languages along with the application of OOP principles using JavaScript strongly desired.
• Excellent problem solving skills (both analytical and mathematical -- as games require a lot of math!).

NICE TO HAVE:

• Previous game AI programming experience.
• Experience with Rails backend.
• Experience with Authoritative Game Servers.
• Experienced with Sockets and Interprocess Communication.
• Experience optimizing network applications (i.e. latency, throughput, message packing, bit packing, etc...).
• Experience with Box2dWeb.
