Job description
ArcheMedX is seeking a seasoned user experience guru with deep hands-on knowledge of the entire web front-end technology stack. In this role, you will be leading the effort to build a world-class online learning product in a multi-billion dollar industry. You should be independent, analytical, ambitious, agile, and above all, a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and implementation of elegant UX designs to meet customer needs and business requirements
- Manage timely and quality delivery of projects in a highly agile and distributed team environment
- Contribute scalable software artifacts that are easy to understand and simple to maintain
- Collaborate during code reviews, paired programming and other team activities
- Coach and mentor other team members, and be willing to be coached and mentored
- Research and adopt leading edge technology tools and frameworks
Skills & requirements
- Demonstrated expertise (5+ yrs) building elegant web applications
- Expert knowledge in HTML, CSS, javascript/jQuery, XML, Ajax. Knows these inside-n-out including best practices
- Experience with visual design tools, e.g. Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
- Exposure to Agile development processes
- Team player and solid communicatorFront-end framework experiences (CoffeeScript, Sass, MVC) strongly preferred
- Exposure to back-end programming languages a plus
