Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an outstanding lead software engineer to help us forever change the way people view their health. As an early employee and the lead member of our software team, you will help define the company culture, evangelize Transform Health to the local startup community, and steer the development of a unique product and platform.
You will drive the development of:
- Our back-end “health GIS” platform that aggregates real-time data from partners – health and non-health data including real-time data feeds from major social media and location based companies – to derive insights on the spread of illness and wellness
- Our mobile software apps, which interact with various smartphone-connected medical hardware devices
Skills & requirements
You should be interested in:
- Using your skills to have a widespread impact on people (we are a mission-first company)
- Taking a leadership role in the company
- Rolling up your sleeves to tackle big technical challenges with a hypothesis-driven approach
- Working with an existing small team of software engineers and expanding it
You should be:
- A brilliant coder and great hacker who can also think on a software architecture level
- Active in the local software community (e.g., hackathons, etc)
- Willing to live in either San Francisco or New York (we are currently NYC-based and are contemplating a move to SF)
