Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a driven and passionate developer to join our growing development team. We build the MediaEverywhere SDK, an HTML5 app framework for publishing companies, used by customers such as Wired, Toronto Star, Skift and The Hockey News. MediaEverywhere is built on cutting edge web stack technologies - Backbone, Underscore.js, Stylus, Browersify, and CoffeeScript - and enables publishing companies across the world to take their content across all connected devices including smartphones, tablets, desktops, and TVs. Our designers and developers work together closely to enable our customers to create beautiful software and highly effective user experiences and together we've enabled 400 publishers to launch sites in 12 countries. 

Key challenges we need this position to tackle include time to glass performance, abstracting browser and device fragmentation, offline experience, and CMS integration. Responsibilities

■     Architect and implement features with high quality code

■     Performance tuning and optimization of large-scale web applications

Qualifications and Skills

■     Familiarity with cutting edge web stack technologies such as Backbone and Coffeescript

■     Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
