Digital Measures, a developer of web-based software for higher education, is currently seeking a full-time Software Developer to assist in building highly customizable databases for our clients. Leveraging expertise in data modeling, you will work with universities to tailor the form and function of our software. This is a great way to get your feet wet with Java, Groovy, XML and other technologies while learning the ropes of software development. Primary Duties Include:

• Conduct technical analysis of specific client needs and provide recommendations
• Identify and implement best-practice data structures and configurations
• Build and maintain custom report templates
• Participate in projects pertaining to team tools, processes, and feature enhancements
• Opportunities for both project management and technical participation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• General programming experience (e.g., Java)
• Familiarity with XML and XPath a plus
• Excellent written communication skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in computer science, information technology, etc.
