Chaordix is currently recruiting a Senior Software Developer. Required Technical Skills

• 5+ Years Object Oriented Development (PHP, Python, Java or C#/C++ experience)
• MySQL or other Relational DB experience
• Solid understanding of Database best practices
• Computer Science leadership in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity
• analysis
• Experience with Big Data including data schema design, ETL and reporting/dashboards
• Experience with analytic environments and tools, for both structured and unstructured data
• Strong understanding of modeling software and data manipulation techniques
• Knowledgeable about application performance, caching and scalability concepts
• Familiar with Agile software development practices
• Fluent in Javascript / JQuery
• Good understanding of HTML5 / CSS 3
• BSc in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience

Bonus Technical Skills

• MSSQL experience
• NoSQL Database experience (Redis, Cassandra, etc.)
• Machine learning / Language processing
• Linux System administration skills
• Understanding of QA / Testing methodologies
• Continuous Integration experience
• Statistical modeling and data mining techniques
• User experience/personae mapping
