Job description
RandomStorm is looking for a highly talented and experienced software engineer to join our back-end development team. We are looking for an individual skilled in creating middleware (restful API interfaces etc). as well as system architecture at a low level.
Our team is one of the fastest growing teams at RandomStorm and our products are used by hundreds of thousands of clients worldwide. You will have the opportunity to work on developing the next generation of our products in a highly skilled development environment, implementing features that simplify complex problems.
Skills & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Play a major role advancing our products by creating new API interfaces and supporting infrastructure
- Collaborate with other development teams and creatively invent new solutions
- Design and implement high-quality software
Required Skills:
- At least 3 years experience with object orientated PHP
- A deep understanding of common web and application patterns
- An understanding and experience with implementing OO practice
- Demonstrable experience with at least one data source (eg. MySQL, CouchDB, MongoDB)
- Ability to work within a small tightly knit team
- Enjoyment in solving problems that nobody else can solve
- The want to learn new technologies
- The want to improve yourself and your code constantly
