Job description
We’re currently seeking a Front End Engineer to help build the interface that our customers rely on daily.
Though we're growing and profitable, we're still a startup, so you'll likely be getting your hands dirty with a bit of everything. But here's what you can expect:
- Develop a modern web app UI that communicates with our backend through an API
- Port PHP code to Zend
- Work on internationalization of the CloudTrax dashboard
- Build code snippets and libraries for our customers to use
Skills & requirements
- You have exceptional web layout skills using CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript
- You’re familiar with PHP / Zend and RPC based architecture, git and database systems (e.g. MySQL)
- You understand general programming concepts through any script language
- You’re self motivated, a strong communicator and you work well as part of a team
- You’re not afraid to dig through and help structure and document code
- You live in the Portland area or are willing to relocate (we’ll help you get here)
- You have experience in, or are keen to work in a startup environment
- Bonus: you have experience with open source projects and you’ve successfully worked with an internationally distributed team
