Software Project Coordinator (m/f/d) for Lifestyle Audio Products

​Great sound needs great software! We are growing our software team to deliver the right answers in an audio product world that is rapidly advancing driven by processing power, digital connectivity, and DSP technologies.

You will work with the Embedded Software team that is passionate about bringing new products to life by developing useful code for all the different processors and DSPs that need to be programmed to make our products joyful to use and delightful to hear. With your positive mindset and your organizational skills, you will navigate the software experts through the various project threads making the whole development program a fulfilling experience for all people involved.

You will also communicate and align with other software teams, either in-house or external 3rd parties – and beyond with various disciplines ranging from acoustic, electrical engineering, mechanics, software QA, to industrial design, user experience or product specialists. Thus, you work highly interdisciplinary in an internationally minded environment.

• Create a work environment in which all team members can maximize their individual impact, where group decisions are fostered, and a safe, open-minded, and productive environment is established
• Work with the team members to define scope and tasks to break down the overall deliverables in digestible units
• Develop and refine individual project plans, considering workforce and milestones of the overall program in a multi-threaded and dynamic project environment
• Introduce/refine project management methods that support a modern, agile, and inspiring way of work
• Coordinate timelines, have an eye for potential risks and bring the right people together to find solutions
• Initiate regular team meetings and work routines to keep all active projects running smoothly; guide team meetings, mediate decisions, document progress, prioritize the team’s backlog considering program milestones
• Take care of release related processes and make sure that gates can be passed
• Work with remote / external teams and other 3rd parties to coordinate and align software activities in an optimal way
• Align with various stakeholders of the whole interdisciplinary product development team
• Manage team dynamics and support positive team spirit

Your profile:

• Enthusiasm for matters of team and project organization
• Experience with software development as a project manager, product owner or a similar role (3+ years)
• Familiar with the typical issues, characteristics, specifics of running a multi-threaded software development program
• Familiar with basic principles and implications of software development for embedded system, i.e. C/C++ for MCU, DSPs, HW drivers etc.
• Strong and confident communicator with the ability to adapt your communication style to a wide variety of team and project situations
• Excellent people skills and ability to establish credibility within highly diverse technical teams and cross-functional groups
• Expertise with issue-tracking and project management tools (Jira, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Preferably a degree in computer science or similar
• Fluent English
