Software Engineer Frontend/Fullstack - Media & Services Hub (m/f/d)

HolidayCheck is the portal used by tens of millions of Urlaubers (holiday-goers, travelers and explorers) across Germany, Switzerland and Austria to discover the best deals and make the right decision for their next vacation.
We collect, organize and curate millions of genuine, unbiased hotel and destination reviews from our Urlaubers. With these highly relevant and valuable insights we are the most trusted companion of our Urlaubers during one of their most important decisions of the year: Where to go on vacation next?
Once you join HolidayCheck, you will become part of our new Media and Services hub in Munich (Germany) and Bottighofen (Switzerland).

Our hub's mission is two-fold:

1. We generate effective and meaningful touchpoints between our Urlaubers and our industry partners by developing innovative features and new products. We combine our massive reach and deep understanding of our Urlaubers and industry partners to build the most relevant and effective advertising formats in the leisure travel industry.
2. We make vacations better for our Urlaubers by developing tools to make relevant insights, benchmarks and reports easily accessible and actionable for our partners in the leisure travel industry.

This engineering position is at an intersection of technology and business. You will help grow a new team while closely working with the engineers and architects who built HolidayCheck and brought it to where it is today.
What makes you the ideal candidate?

• We work with JavaScript, especially Node/Express and React. It is helpful if you know these technologies already, if not, we’ll be excited to help you learn
• You enjoy collaboration with a young and diverse group of thinkers while bringing your own unique experience and background to the team
• You can contribute across the full web stack, but may have a deeper passion for certain technologies and systems
• You bring at least 3 years experience in working as a full stack developer

How will this position interact and support other positions within the company?

• From product concept and research to implementation and deployment, we expect you to own your work and deliver high-quality solutions
• Grow and learn engineering best practices with close mentorship and collaboration from experienced engineers
