Skills & requirements
What you’ll do:
- Bring an original perspective to projects, from conception through production to deployment.
- Share ideas, experience, and knowledge with other members of the team.
- Work with designers, project managers, and strategists to push beyond original client expectations.
What we’d like to see from you:
- The ability to write semantic, clean, and concise HTML and CSS, accounting for vendor prefixes and legacy browser fallbacks when appropriate. Familiarity with CSS pre-processors is a plus.
- Experience with JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Underscore, and Backbone.js.
- A strong understanding of the nuances between different browsers and each of their limitations.
- Experience writing clean, readable, and well-organized code.
- A strong understanding of media query-based responsive development.
- Desire and ability to quickly learn new tools and put them to use.
- Know your way around version control with Git.
- Careful attention to detail, and a desire to push beyond what’s expected.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, namely S3 and EC2, is a plus.
