Senior DevOps Engineer (Nordic or Germany)

As a DevOps Engineer you will be part of our Engineering Practices team and you’ll join an open and sharing community with highly skilled colleagues. You can come as you are and be at your best at Nets. You’ll find the freedom to balance an exciting job with life outside of work.

You will closely work with our development teams in Merchant Services business unit and assist them to build and maintain their CI/CD pipelines.You support and coach teams to excel in their ways of working, from coding to releasing with high quality. You are in the key position to identify bottlenecks from all parts of the software development life-cycle, and then remove those by improving their processes/tools/skills. Developing and advocating test automation is of high priority task for you, and you will enable teams to reach high automation coverage to enable fast and frequent releasing without compromising quality.

In addition to making sure that teams have the right skills and the best tools in place you will also continuously scout for even better ways and tools, and if needed support teams to transfer to using those. You will also assist in evaluating new tools and doing proof of concepts.

Your professional skills and experience form most of your qualifications, but it’s also your personality that makes the difference at Nets. What we hope you to have:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience with DevOps practices and tools; designing and implementing strategies for CI/CD pipeline.
• Knowledge and experience adhering to software development best practices, e.g. test-driven development and unit testing discipline.
• Scripting/coding experience, e.g. with Python.
• Experience in test automation (design & implementation) and expertise in automation testing tools.
• If you have Azure and/or AWS DevOps experience that is a definite plus.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• Agile mentality and SAFe knowledge.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Skilled in written and spoken English.
