In der Audi Business Innovation GmbH werden innovative Konzepte, Produkte und Services an der Schnittstelle zwischen Technologie, digitalen Geschäftsmodellen und Mobilität entwickelt und betrieben, sowie entsprechende Beteiligungen gehalten. Darüber hinaus arbeitet die Audi Business Innovation GmbH in unterschiedlichen Formen mit externen Partnern aus den Bereichen Mobilität und Digitalisierung zusammen und erweitert mit digitalen Services das Leistungsspektrum der AUDI AG. Die Werkstudentenstelle ist ab Februar 2022 zu besetzen und befristet auf 6 Monate (mit Option zur Verlängerung) Das neue Ökosystem für die Audi-Websiten weltweit, oneAudi OS, bietet Software-Tools, ein Content-Management-System, eine Micro-Frontend-Integrationsschicht sowie Betriebs- und Analysetools, um ein umfassendes Entwicklungs- und Authoring-Erlebnis zu schaffen. Wir ermöglichen Entwicklern und Autoren die Erstellung nahtloser Customer Journeys mit hochmodernen Webanwendungen und ganzen Websites weltweit.

Was dich auf deiner Mission erwartet

Im Bereich "Website Ecosystem" entwickelst Du als Teil unseres internationalen Teams das Framework für die nächste Generation der Audi- und Konzern-Websites und setzt so neue Maßstäbe für unsere weltweite Developer Community.
Du unterstützt unsere selbstorganisierten Entwicklungsteams bei der Entwicklung nutzerfreundlicher und innovativer Webanwendungen auf Basis neuester Technologien.
Du unterstützt das Entwicklungsteams dabei unsere Community bei ihren Fragen zu unterstützen, Bugs zu fixen und die Kommunikation mitzugestalten.
Du entwickelst aktiv am Frontend und Backend unserer next-gen Software mit.
Du wirst Teil eines Scrum Teams sein, in welchem Du deine Ideen einfließen lassen und deine Stärken ausbauen kannst, um unser Ökosystem noch besser zu machen.

Was du mitbringst

Erfahrungen in mindestens drei der folgenden Technologien: React, TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5
Erste Erfahrungen mit GitHub (Actions) und Deployments in Cloudumgebungen (bevorzugt AWS)
Erfahrungen bei der Erstellung von RESTful APIs
Zur Zeit eingeschrieben im Informatik-Studium oder vergleichbarer Studiengang
Teamgeist, Kreativität und Spaß an projektbezogener Arbeit
Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

Was wünschenswert wäre

Erste Erfahrung in der agilen Software Entwicklung (Scrum, Kanban)
Erfahrung im Community Management
Erfahrung mit AWS Cloud Services (e.g. S3, Lambda functions, CloudFormation…)

About our engineering positions

In our Software Engineering teams, we are working with many of the latest technologies, developing solely cloud native solutions. In daily work, you would come across many AWS serverless technologies like Lambda, DynamoDB, CDK, using languages like TypeScript or Java and infrastructure like GitHub and Kubernetes.

In terms of methodology, we follow the Agile frameworks Scrum and Kanban with standup meetings, Planning Sessions, Demos, and Retro meetings. We do not hesitate to build on top of those guidelines in order to improve our processes and solve our problems better. We also practice systematically pull request code reviews, continuous deployment and delivery and strive to automate as much as meaningfully possible.

To learn from each other and keep up to date with the latest technologies, we do a whole “Lab Day” every month, combined with cross-team know-how sharing sessions and regular code Katas.
