Your job as Software Design Engineer C#

As C# engineer you are part of one of our scrum teams and responsible for  design of a (sub)system, module or component and the implementation of the chosen solution. You are a sparring partner and advisor for customers and stakeholders with regard to software design, implementation and verification. We often carry out edge-to-cloud projects where you will be working on sensor control to obtain data. You will be responsible for the data-storage (cloud), -analysis, -interpretation, -optimisation, predictability (AI) and visualisation (front-end). C# is often used as programming language, but you will have the opportunity to use and build up knowledge in other technologies such as WPF, .NET, C++, Python and AWS.  

You will contribute to tech meetings where you are able to share your ideas , contribute to software design and help the project move forward in the right direction. Depending on your ambitions and desires for personal growth, we will support you in shaping your future and let you take on more responsibilities as you grow in seniority.

As a driven, enthusiastic, and ambitious C# engineer, you will be part of a team working on state-of-the-art projects covering the entire process; ranging from the definition of requirements to delivery.  Our projects are caried out at our inspiring office in Best or on-site at location of our high-tech customers.

As a Software Design Engineer C# engineer at TOPIC

• you have an University or Bachelor's degree in (applied) Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Physics and/or Mathematics;
• you have 5+ years’ experience in O.O. programming, excellent knowledge and command of C# and preferably other technologies such as WPF, .NET C++, Python, database knowledge and/or AWS in the high-tech domain;
• you are familiar with methodologies and techniques as UML, Design Patterns, Agile and TDD;
• excellent oral and written command of the English language is required for this role; knowledge of the Dutch language would be a big plus;

Our job structure model consists of several seniority levels ranging from Programmer to System Architect. Your position in the salary scale will be conform your previous experience and expertise. For this position, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer or Software Designer. The annual all-in benefit package will be between €50.000 and €65.000.

Additionally, you will also receive an insurance package, a good pension scheme and a yearly study budgetincluding paid training days. We offer a home office support package and TOPIC has a relocation assistance program in place for new employees.
