Working Student Product Management - CRM (m/f/d)

The CRM-Tech Team is dedicated to the maintenance, development and improvement of new and existing features in AY’s internal tool for Customer Relationship Management.

The main objective of this tool is to increase the customer lifetime value through smart customer reactivation, by providing the right content at the right time to the right person.

The product can be used to set up highly personalized and intelligent email- and push-notification-campaigns, which we can reactivate customers, update them on the status of their orders, send them vouchers, inform them about a price drop in a product from their wishlist, show them the outfits of the week via our newsletter, and even notify them about “back in stock”-products, which were previously sold out.

Challenges the team will be working on in the upcoming months:

• Massification of personalized campaigns
• Improvements in the technical performance
• Constantly growing stakeholder base

What will you do

• Support the feature delivery pipeline (e.g. gather requirements, write tickets, support with decisions and implementation, ensure release quality, and measure the outcome of changes)
• Research and document new and existing topics that we can work on
• Assist the product manager in brainstorming and problem solving
• Work data-driven, based on reports and analyses for deriving actions that are truly oriented towards our customers' needs
• Act as an additional point of contact for emergencies and bug reports
• Handle a variety of stakeholders from different departments like Business Intelligence, Performance Marketing and the Shop Applications
• Validate features with hands-on quality assurance
• Learn how to prioritize and evaluate the impact and business value of a feature
• With growing experience, take over responsibilities for own projects to optimize our products

Who you are

• Enrolled student, interested in product management and willing to expand their knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple interdisciplinary topics at a time
• An affinity for challenging tasks that require creative thinking
• Analytical and efficient way of thinking
• Proactive and resilient attitude
• Experience in Technical Development Processes
• Knowledge of CRM practices and/or relevant KPIs and Metrics for the industry
• Cursory knowledge in software development and agile methods
• Basic knowledge/understanding in programming
• Excellent communication skills & energetic and positive mindset
• Very good written and spoken English skills

Nice to have:

• Technical Background in MySQL, GBQ and experience with managing, reading and querying Databases
• Familiarity with writing technical documentation
