As Release/QA Engineer (all genders) you will be supporting our team with the Release Management Process, with a high focus on expanding automation and efficiency.

What will keep you challenged

• Supporting the implementation & improvement of test-automation in UAT & PROD
• Creating e2e automated test-cases using BDD+Cypress stack
• Executing Post-release and Pre-release smoke testing and checks
• Implementing solid QA testing across operational tooling and processes#
• Tracking quality and health of the process though metrics and performance data
• Creating test-plans and scenarios from stakeholders feedback gathered
• Scheduling, managing and coordinating releases across multiple teams and projects according to the respective deadlines
• Executing the deployment and all related release instructions, checks and configurations
• Strong push for release automation, supporting agile feature releases and optimal efficiency of each release
• Review, challenge, sign off, mitigate risks and resolve issues regarding release quality and schedule
• Focus on continuous improvement of release cycles and processes (including metrics, measurements and KPIs)
• Monitor the release process and collect feedback from the different teams to constantly optimizing the process to ensure the uninterrupted and scalable running of the platform

What we are looking for

• Very good understanding how complex web applications work
• Not afraid of executing manual testing
• Mandatory experience in UI automation in cypress
• Experienced in BlackBox/Whitebox testing
• Knowledge of most crucial testing methods and strategies (things like equivalent classes, boundary value analysis, etc. )
• Awesome extras:
  • Experience in scripting
  • Docker knowledge (will be a huge plus )
  • Experience in API testing and automation
  • Knowledge of release automation tools
• Ability to multitask and prioritize their day based on project deliverables
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional work teams up to task completion
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Problem-solver with keen eye for process, analytical and mindset of driving a cycle of continuous process improvement.
• A dedicated team player who is able to work independently
• Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence is a plus
• Good communication skills in English, German language skills are a plus
