Web Software/Moodle Developer

This position is for a full-time Moodle Developer providing direct support for an LMS project currently in the planning stage. The candidate will contribute to the overall design and development of the solution while working within a dynamic software engineering organization.

• 2+ years of experience with Moodle LMS development, including experience with Moodle’s development framework and implementing custom PHP software.
• Thorough understanding of multimedia course accessibility and reporting techniques via SCORM.
• Participated in customer requirements sessions, system testing, and production deployments of Moodle LMS solutions.
• Able to integrate scalable LMS solutions in an existing enterprise that may require software customizations.
• Experience of different hosting solutions and knowledge of relevant security requirements.
• Experience with web-based development, including html/javascript/CSS.
• Experience with data management in MySQL or other databases.
• Able to work to tight time schedules and deliver quality product on time.
• Able to work and communicate effectively with team members.
• Prior experience working with Federal Government/DoD clients a plus.
• US citizen able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and/or pass a corporate and/or government background investigation.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
