Job description
As a member of an operational software engineering team, the MetiSpace engineer will perform the following activities in support of satellite ground systems software:
• Evaluate operational code; recommend and design improvements and enhancements;
• Design and document the recommended coding effort;
• Coordinate approval for the recommended coding effort;
• Execute software coding and testing.
Skills & requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Proficient Coding Experience in Java
• Experience creating and maintaining branches of source code in CM system
• Windows Experience
• Proficiency with Windows Active Directory
• Proficiency with Windows GPOs
• Experience with Python and C++
• U.S. Citizenship required per government contract.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Working knowledge of Oracle - SQL and Database experience
• Experience working with:
- VM Ware
- Eclipse and Microsoft Visual C++
- Acronis Backup and Recovery
- Windows Server 2008 r2
- Windows 7
• Current Security Clearance
