Job description
MSTY is a mobile first product and as a result we're looking for a senior iOS engineer willing to take ownership and lead the mobile development effort. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small, funded team from day 1. You really will be instrumental in helping to shape what MSTY becomes over time. You'll be working alongside a designer and back-end engineer so it's paramount that you're able to work effectively within a small, talented team.
Skills & requirements
- Masters or Bachelors degree (2:1 or above) in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
- 3 years+ experience building iOS applications, with (end to end) examples
- Quality is really important to you – your code is well organised, clean, self-documenting and riddled with comments
- You pride yourself on always being up to date with the latest frameworks and design paradigms
- You were one of the first to dive into Swift and iOS 8
- SDK/API integration experience; ability to adopt and consume 3rd party services with ease
- Clear understanding of the technical delivery life cycle
- You are familiar with Lean and Agile methodologies
- Self-motivated, proactive and “can-do” attitude
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong team player; proven experience of working across teams i.e. with designers, back-end engineers
- Willing to influence and inspire the team with original ideas
- Audio streaming
- Product design and UX
- Mobile analytics
