As a Software Engineer you will provide technical leadership while designing, developing and maintaining BAS’ custom Software-as-a-Service solutions. Your impact on our organization will be significant and will leverage your education and prior experience with computer programming. Successful candidates will have very strong technology skills (including Object Oriented development experience) and will be able to create and modify C# code.
Skills & requirements
- Designing, developing and maintaining C# and SQL code
- Working with end-users to elicit requirements and refine program functionality
- Staying current by reading, interpreting and applying information on technological changes and updates
- Developing and maintaining SQL libraries to interface with web applications
- Debugging complex transactions spanning several applications
- Maintaining a detailed, up-to-date inventory of code and procedures
- Tracking and resolving programming requests
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable work experience
- 3+ years professional application development experience
- Demonstrated critical reasoning, analytical and creative problem solving skills
- Strong skills in Object Oriented development experience
- Familiarity with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and ASP.NET C#
- Expert knowledge of advanced SQL queries, triggers and stored procedures
- HR/Benefit Administration experience a plus
- Experience developing/supporting Accounting applications a plus
- Capability to maintain security and confidentiality of client information
