Bite Club is a food-tech-logistics startup that’s making it ridiculously easy to put a high quality meal on the table. We are a young team of engineers & passionate problem solvers from IIT Kharagpur, NTU-Singapore, working hard on building the hottest food-tech startup in India. Bite Club operates as a managed marketplace connecting people who cook great food directly with consumers. All of this with zero hassle, mobile based ordering, swift delivery, daily changing menu and much more!
Our product has been getting great response and we think we are on to something unbelievably big! We are financially well-backed and our now looking for a kickass full stack developer to join our rocketship as we aim for the stars. Our technology is in nascent stages and needs to be transformed into a monster. If you are interested in building products similar to Uber/Flipkart/Snapdeal which affect millions of people on a daily basis, come aboard.
Role Description:
Lead and take complete ownership of the backend system. Work closely with the founders to build and assist in expanding the team which will handle the whole tech stack.
Skills & requirements
Requirements:
- 1+ year of work-experience and very strong knowledge of any of the web backend frameworks (RoR, Django, PHP, Grails, Spring, others)
- Strong Algorithmic and OOPS background
- Good sense of UI/UX patterns and minimalistic design
- Willingness to work in a no-holds barred startup environment
Good-to-haves:
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with Java, and experience of working on large-scale projects of the same
- Experience of working with heuristics
- Experience of mobile development (Android/iOS). Having created and published apps on the Play Store/App Store is a huge plus
- Experience of working with NoSQL databases
- Frontend JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS/Ember)
