C# Developer

Computer Arts, Inc. (CAI) a custom software development and support firm is searching for a qualified individual for a software developer position. This position is considered full-time with benefits. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of software development for Computer Arts, Inc. products. We are looking for a hardworking motivated employee and someone who is willing to be challenged and committed to our success.

Job Requirements/Prerequisites: The Developer will architect, design, build and support enterprise n-tier client server applications, custom system interfaces, web services, web applications as well as other .NET and client server applications.

The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:

• 3-5+ years of enterprise class development. Experience using Computer Associates PLEX ARAD tool is a plus.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Visual Studio using ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Framework (2.0 and greater).
• 2-3+ years of experience in creating, deploying, and consuming Web and WCF services.
• 2-3+ years of experience in SQL Server.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Experience with CSS.
• Experience in AJAX.
• Experience with MVC methodology.
• Solid understanding of XML, HTML, SOAP, and REST.
• Solid understanding of IIS and Apache web servers.
• Complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design and create aesthetically and appealing web presentation pages and sites.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
