HEAD AERIAL RIGGER/INSTALLER (Globacom Nig Ltd, EAST DIVISION.)
Job Responsibilities
Supervisory roles on Installations & maintenance of Various Network Elements (BSS/TX) in my Division.
Arrange internal education, trainings to stay ahead of an involving telecommunication industry networking, learned when new products are introduced and projects the company valued.
Realignment of GSM/PDH/SDH, Super -MXC Radios & Transmission antennas links.
Conducting acceptance test on sites Installations.
First level trouble-shooting on transmission links to logically conclusion.
Ensure safety compliance at all time.
Prepare status report for all on-going Projects.
Ensure that managements set target are meet promptly.
Erection and supervision of various towers/masts from different clients.
Drawings interpretations.
Collaborates with colleagues to exchange information & strategies on maintenance & installation of telecoms products, also attend customer trades and trainings.
Preparation of masts base foundations.
Routine Inspection of tower members, To ensure that torques specification are maintained.
Installation and maintenance of Aviation Warning Lights.
2002-2005
Team Lead (TELNET NETWORK SERVICE NIG LTD)
Job Responsibilities
To collects sites instructions from clients.
To carry out proper site surveys.
Ensure service delivery to Clients efficiently and in a most cost effective manner.
Ensure Quality installation of company products and services.
Ensure that every Job done is signed off by the sites supervisors & collects the Take over Certificates (TOC).
Ensure that the upcoming Riggers/installers, have the proper orientation on the job and also arrange for training.
Ensure Quality Radio frequency (RF) Installation for Clients (MTN, GLOBACOM, ALCATEL Equipment) both for in/out door, roof – top & Green Field Installation.
1998-2002
Supervisor (RIGGER VINCK NIG LTD)
Job Responsibilities
Passing the proper Orientation on the job to enhance proper erection and quality finishing of all installations.
Signing and receiving of T.O.C. from site supervisors on qualities of Job done.
Coordinating other riggers to meet set targets.
Erection of various tower/masts both locally and foreign
Coordinating work – up the Tower with the other Riggers, Ensure safety harness are used.
Ensuring that Iron Bars are properly fitted, According to Specification.
Drawings Interpretation
Painting of Towers, Installation of Aviation Light and Thunder Prevention.
Preparation of foundations.
Skills & requirements
Good knowledge of BSC/BTS/SDH/PDH/MXC SUPER Radios/3G NODE B/RF/ Waveguides/Towers & Cables maintenance.
Safety consciousness at all time.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
Excellent Problem Solving skills and A Team Player.
Good knowledge on Desk top appreciation, Microsoft words, Power point and Excel.
Valid driver license.
