Job description
The Echo Nest works with some of the world's largest online music companies to give developers access to licensed content and the best music app development tools in the market. The Lead Producer will be primarily responsible for driving a portfolio of revenue-generating third-party applications with our key developer platform partners.
Responsibilities:
- Work with third-party developers and our large developer platform partners to manage development of commercial music applications.
- Ensure The Echo Nest developer platform is meeting the needs of key commercial third-party developers and our developer platform partners.
- Serve as 'outsourced product manager' for priority third-party music applications.
- Evangelize The Echo Nest platform and commercial development opportunities to successful application developers.
The ideal candidate:
- A consumer product oriented leader with an understanding of commercially-minded developers and an ability to motivate them to build revenue-generating applications atop The Echo Nest developer platform.
- Revenue-focused, comfortable with delivering results in a high-pressure environment and compensated by performance.
- Proven track record managing fast-moving, successful web/mobile entertainment product development.
- Able to evangelize The Echo Nest platform to commercial developers and manage the relationship between The Echo Nest and key developer platform partners.
- A passionate, voracious digital music consumer who is obsessed with creating amazing music applications.
