21st Century Oncology is a leading developer and operator of radiation therapy centers, medical oncology, and multi-specialty practices throughout the US.  Our centers, which are freestanding and hospital based, provide a full spectrum of radiation therapy services and medical oncology treatment to cancer patients, and multi specialty care to patients in the areas of Urology, Gynecology and medical specialties.  We are growing and need highly qualified candidates to join our team.

We are seeking an experienced .NET Software Developer to support our Financial Systems team in Fort Myers, FL. 

This position will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of custom PC applications, conversions, interfaces, and utilities to further the business objectives of this organization. This position will cooperate with I.T. management and existing programmers to deliver complete projects, including gathering end user requirements, designing, prototyping, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance. Position reports to the IT Development Manager.

Education\Training\Certifications:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science preferred. Four years in IT application design or build experience may be substituted for the degree.

Required Experience (minimum):

Suitable applicants will have experience in .NET C#, based programming within a corporate environment. An emphasis on C# and TSQL applications is required. Applicant must be able to demonstrate their capabilities.

• 3+ years – Visual Studio .NET
• 2+ years - MS SQL 2008
• 2+ years – Custom application development
• 2+ years – Project development experience

Required Skills:

• Visual Studio .Net 2008 or newer development experience in a Client/Server environment
• Experience with MSSQL query coding & Stored Procedures.
• Good GUI development skills
• Ability to work independently in project oriented environment
• Ability to learn new software and expand skills to provide support for industry specific applications and technology
• Strong organizational skills.
• Software documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Healthcare I.T. experience
• Excel VBA Scripting
• Experience with custom interfaces & data exchange (HL7,EDI,DICOM,etc)
• Basic Unix/Linux skills
• OpenEdge/Progress development skills a plus
