Job description
Lunchbox is a full service agency with offices in LA, San Francisco and Chicago. We employ a very strong team of strategists, designers, video editors, programmers and media specialists, all dedicated to creating highly detailed, innovative and often technically challenging, long-lasting solutions for ourselves and our clients.
We are looking for a mobile application developer with experience specifically for the iOS platform. You will architect and build iPhone and iPad applications that are optimized for high performance and best in-class user experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent industry experience
- Understanding of Apple’s Human User Interface Guidelines
- Good working knowledge relating to all aspects of iOS development and deployment
- Experience in Objective-C, working with the latest iOS SDK
- Working knowledge of most iOS APIs
- Developing iPhone/iPad apps with platform specific and custom UI components
- Comprehensive experience with Xcode 3.0 and later
- Comfortable with algorithms, data schemas, memory management and fundamentals of software design
- At least 4 years of software development experience in a professional context
- At least 1 year of Objective-C experience, with at least one published application for iOS
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deliver new features with existing applications as well as new applications within fast paced development cycles, maintaining high-quality in all areas throughout development
- Complete functional testing and bug fixes, delivering apps for final testing
- Work with iA/UX, UI designers and product managers to create applications that satisfy user and client needs with simplicity and robustness
- Collaborate with other developers, provide mentorship to junior members of the team and work to efficiently achieve the team’s goals
- Follow, maintain and evolve our development process, code libraries and methodologies
- Stay current with mobile technology and its usage as it pertains to our clients and industry
Bonus:
- Demonstrate deep knowledge with UI/UX
- Familiar with hybrid iOS apps
- Have Android experience
