Job description
An innovative startup is on the make for a talented young CTO in order to establish the company’s technical vision and to lead all aspects of the company’s technology development. Reporting to the CEO, the CTO will lead the execution of strategy for technology platforms, collaborations, and external relationships.
Skills & requirements
Must have extensive knowledge of both front- and back-end technologies and development:
- 2+ years management and startup experience
- Be proficient in Ruby on Rails and RoR API backend development
- Identify and implement relevant trends and platforms
- Assess problems and create manageable solutions
- Develop and implement security effective protocols
- Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the company’s data and servers
- Enhance the app deployment process
- Conduct code reviews and testing
- Integrate customer service and support systems
- Monitor and report web analytics to ascertain site traffic
- Optimize internal communications systems
- Apply solid business skills in IT management
- Assess organization competencies and capabilities
