error reading database in Android

Question

Here is the Database class. It shows error in the getReadableDatabase(). Below is the log file. Please help me where is the mistake.

Here is the line which gives you NullPointerException:

db = mContext.openOrCreateDatabase(mName, 0, mFactory, mErrorHandler);

So the problem is mContext is NULL. You supply a context when execute super(context, dbName, null,40);

Make sure you provide valid context to your helper constructor: DatabaseHelper(Context context), NULL is not valid context ;)
