I have Role Entity which has three many to many mappings with Page, ProfileSection and PageComponents. When I load Role pages are loading properly but profileSection and PageComponents are loading only one record.

Below is my Model.

Page Components Size is: 1

If you observe the results:

Pages are getting 6 - This is expected as the rows are 6 for that particular role id

PageComponents 1 - This is wrong as the rows matching for that role id are 4

ProfileSections 1 - This is also wrong matching rows are 4.

I am not able to understand where I am wrong. I updated my entities as per the suggestions but still results are not as expected. This is not the first time I am working on many to many, I never got this kind of problem so far. Even I got expected results without even mapping joinTable in Role.java.

Please let me know when I am wrong?

I'm not exactly sure why it's returning Page, ProfileSection, or PageComponent at all. It doesn't look like you've hooked up your Many-to-Manys with @JoinTable and @JoinColumn annotations. Perhaps you're doing it via XML? In that case, can you post your join definitions?

I'm not familiar with JoinCriteriaHelper but that could certainly be the source of your woes considering it partially regulates lazy initialization (according to this source)‌​. Have you tried fetching with an old fashioned @NamedQuery to see what the default Hibernate behavior produces? –  Tim Pote Apr 8 '12 at 18:02
    
I changed collection mapping from Set to List. Now I am getting all the rows. Why did i get only last row when I used Set for mapping collections? –  SateeshKasaboina Apr 9 '12 at 15:40
    
Does hashcode() return the same for all of your ProfileSection and PageComponent objects? That would explain everything. –  Tim Pote Apr 9 '12 at 15:50
