I noticed that Netbeans gives me an error at this line:

private static ActiveSessionsDAO dao = DAOFactory.getInstance("javabase").getActiveSessionsDAO();

The error message is:

cannot find symbol
  symbol:   class ActiveSessionsDAO
  location: class com.DX_57.HM_57.Sessions

cannot find symbol
  symbol:   method getInstance(java.lang.String)
  location: class com.DX_57.HM_57.Sessions.DAOFactory

What dependencies I have to import? Can I simplify the code and use just simple JDBC connection for getting data from the database?

I'd als suggest to take a step back and go through some basic Java tutorials first. Not meant to be harsh, but you really seem to be missing some very important fundamental understandings. –  BalusC Apr 7 '12 at 17:50
    
Yes I know. I'm working as volunteer on a open source project during my free time. Usually I work as Linux/Unix system administrator. In the near future I won't have time to for extensive Java learning. –  Peter Penzov Apr 7 '12 at 18:46
