I am trying to get CloudWatch metrics but get the following error:

I've run your code and tried to reproduce the problem, but it works for me. I tried jclouds 1.3.2, 1.4.0 and 1.5.0-SNAPSHOT and all worked. Could you give more information about your jclouds version and your environment? –  Richard Downer Apr 17 '12 at 11:02

The final version of cloudwatch as a different syntax. please look at the cloudwatch-basics example and use jclouds version 1.5.3+ and see if you still encounter issues.
