I am facing a linker error in my code and i am unable to detect it. I think the error is in addressBookType class but i cannot detect it!

Is there any problem with main?

Or problem is in the class definition?

~Please help

Well, it's quite clear, you haven't implemented the default constructor for addressBookType:

class addressBookType {
//...
    addressBookType();                      //declare constructor
    void loadData(addressBookType *&ptr);   //declare method
};

//missing constructor implementation

void addressBookType::loadData(addressBookType *&ptr){ //implement method
//...
}

To solve the error, just add

addressBookType::addressBookType() { }

Note that this will initialize your string members to the empty string, the objects

addressType obj1;
dateType obj2;
extPersonType obj3;

with their respective default constructors, and POD types will remain uninitialized.
