There is QObject::sender(), but the better way is using QSignalMapper like @Anthony suggests. qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/qobject.html#sender –  HostileFork May 14 '12 at 16:58

Use a QSignalMapper. It allows you to identify the sender of a signal.
