Earlier I asked for help in making a trignometric calculator. I took the advice but I still can't seem to get it to give the answer. Here is my code:

trig = raw_input ('What are you looking for? A) I have the opposite, and I want the  Hypotenuse. ')

Your trig formula is wrong. Recall that O/H = sin, where O is opposite and H is hypoteneuse. Rearrange to give H = O/sin. That's the formula that you need.

You may need to convert from degrees to radians depending on what form you expect the input. The Python trig functions use radians for angles. Convert with math.radians().

First of all, math.asin(ang)*line won't ever give the correct result. If ang is the angle, line is the opposite side and h the hypotenuse, then sin(ang) = line/h, which means that h = line/sin(ang). So your formula should have been line/math.sin(ang)

Secondly, when you input the value for the angle, you must give it a value in radians. For a right-angled triangle, the value of your ang angle should be between 0 and PI/2, PI being approx. 3.14.

Edit: the code works perfectly fine after changing the formula to line/math.sin(ang) - I've tested it here

Lines 3-6 need to be indented as well, don't know whether that's just a copy and paste error.
