Hi I am new to Android development. The problem that I am having is I can successfully create a table and add data into the table, however I am not able to retrieve the data from the database and the arraylist always returns null value. Please help me :-)

check your cursor values, when you request from db, Is it NULL? – Anand Tiwari May 28 '12 at 5:57
just a advice use "if not exists" while creating this way... – Its not blank May 28 '12 at 6:02

First thing I notice is you are using getString to try and retrieve integers from the cursor. You should use getInt.

Second, you don't have an "_id" column that is the primary index so the cursor you return will not work with any of the standard adapters. They expect and require an "_id" column to be in the cursor.

SQLiteDatabase db = getReadableDatabase();
final Cursor cursor = db.query(TABLE_BLOOD_PRESSURE, columns, "", null, "", "", "", "");

while (cursor.moveToNext()) {
BloodPressureResult bloodPressureResult = new BloodPressureResult();

Are you sure that you insert the values into your table?

I think you should use SQLiteDatabase db = this.getWritableDatabase(); instead of SQLiteDatabase db = this.getReadableDatabase(); in addBloodPressure function.
