Im trying to make this google maps API zoom on submit. Right now its just using the myOptions zoom settings.

This is created in jquery. I am just unsure were to put "setZoom" to where it only affects the onclick submit.

what would be the best way to add it to this code?

Do you really want to set the zoom on submit? I would think you would want to change it if you receive a successful response. The google maps API v3 geocoder result includes a "suggested viewport", which can be used to set the map center and zoom level to show the area appropriate to the result. –  geocodezip Jun 21 '12 at 19:00
    
Well, I need it to zoom in on the area they put in the form. Right now it is just using the default "myOption" –  kacy thompson Jun 21 '12 at 19:17

Did you try using the viewport in the result returned by the geocoder? Example –  geocodezip Jun 25 '12 at 19:38
